  1. I felt that both the play, “No Exit” by Jean Paul Sartre, and the book, “The Plague” by Albert Camus, taught me something that i can apply to life. I believe that both of them taught me about working together with others. In “No Exit,” they had to help each other figure out why they were there. In “The Plague,” they had to work together to stop the epidemic, or at least stop it from spreading. Both were really interesting stories that caught my attention and had good themes that made me reflect on my life. Whether its, working together, love, religion, or hope, many people can relate to some of these themes.

  2. This summer I am re-reading the play Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare as I wanted to read it at my own pace and further understand it. I have come to see a pattern in the way that the characters judge each other by their physical appearances and by the way they act. Caesar is quick to judge Cassius and based on how he acts is able to understand his ways and comes to the conclusion that Cassius is cunning and plans something. Cassius also judges Caesar and easily calls him a tyrant; however, none of them ever spoke on a personal level. They simply judged each other on their actions and demeanor. I feel that is pretty similar to the way people judge each other now a days as no one truly takes the time to understand one another. We are quick to judge one another and often act upon it and end up making a mistake.
